1. Firozabad rail disaster: On August 20, 1995, two express trains collided near Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, killing over 300 people and injuring hundreds.

2. Gaisal train disaster: On August 2, 1999, the Guwahati-bound Awadh-Assam Express collided with the 55802 Up Kirnahar passenger train at Gaisal, Assam, killing 290 people and injuring more than 300.

3. Khanna rail disaster: On November 26, 1998, the Jammu Tawi-Sealdah Express collided with two derailed goods trains near Khanna, Punjab, killing 212 people and injuring hundreds.
